Job Description:

Litigation Paralegal needed for a leading Atlanta plaintiff law firm. We are seeking a paralegal who is fluent in Spanish. This is a direct-hire permanent position with the flexibility to work from home half of the time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drafting Letters of Representation
  • Obtain medical, employment, accident, and police records
  • Propound and respond to discovery
  • Draft pleadings, motions prepare subpoenas
  • E-file documents with courts
  • Manage the cases through all phases of litigation, including help prepare for trial
  • Prepare exhibits
  • Schedule meetings and depositions

Requirements:

  • At least four years of experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to 'own' cases and work all aspects of litigation
  • Superior communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail

  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining lawyers’ calendars, scheduling depositions and entering deadlines to the master calendar
  • Process and handle incoming subpoenas and obtain medical records, including medical billing
  • Create and maintain digital case files for each client
  • Screen, process, direct, and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and mail
  • Take initiative to manage law firm marketing efforts.
