Job Description:

We're on the hunt for a developing SaaS salesperson to join our growing Partnerships team! Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you’ll own the full sales cycle and take accountability for identifying and closing new partners for Employment Hero. You'll focus on developing relevant new channel sales opportunities for our market-leading products, utilizing a mixture of warm leads (from the marketing function) and outbound prospecting to pitch, present and win new business, supporting onboarding and activation of partners and their clients. This role would suit a Quebec-based Account Executive with proven partnerships or channel sales experience. We're looking for someone hungry, tenacious, and eager to drive results! Given the role's focus on the Quebec market, bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential to effectively communicate and build strong relationships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify and drive new business opportunities to build partner pipeline
  • Covert inbound marketing and event leads to revenue
  • Devise a strategic sales approach to expand and advance partnerships opportunities using a low touch and efficient sales process
  • Prospect for potential new partners and convert into increased business
  • Meet potential partners by growing, maintaining, and leveraging networks
  • Plan strategic approaches and pitch persuasively
  • Actively identify partnerships opportunities through the tendering process
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
  • Adapt style to persuade and negotiate appropriately
  • Qualify opportunities, run the sales cycle and close the sale
  • Meet your assigned targets / quotas
  • Submit accurate weekly progress reports - pipeline & forecast
  • Ensure all customer / client data is accurately entered and maintained in our CRM system, Salesforce
  • Ensure all pipeline reporting and data is entered into Salesforce

Requirements:

  • At least 1+ years' experience in a B2B sales role
  • 1+ years' worth of channel sales experience
  • Relevant industry experience (SaaS, tech, or an aligned industry)
  • Proven sales track record
  • Clear experience developing and winning new channel and referral partners
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential to effectively engage and build strong relationships within the Quebec market
