Collective Choice, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Bilingual Health Insurance Agent (Korean/English) to join our team for a new role based from our Koreatown office location. Job Responsibility

  • Guide clients through health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options, tailoring plans to meet their individual needs and budgets
  • Engage with prospective and existing clients by phone, online, and in person, ensuring timely follow-ups to maximize enrollment and satisfaction
  • Clearly explain insurance concepts such as subsidies, deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket maximums, empowering clients to make informed decisions
  • Accurately maintain client records in our CRM system and on platforms such as Covered California, ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and data security
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and connect clients with appropriate resources when additional support is needed
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals, share best practices, brainstorm marketing ideas, and maintain a welcoming, professional office environment

Requirements

  • Bilingual fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or degree a plus)
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of health insurance plans, benefits, and enrollment processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of self-motivation, accountability, and professionalism
  • Comfort using Google Workspace and CRM tools
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and eager to learn and grow within the industry
