We are looking for a Bilingual Equipment Coordinator to join our Lachine team. This is a key operational role, perfect for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, and ready to dive into the heart of the logistics industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Continuously monitor trailer movements (arrivals, departures, and yard transfers) within the terminal
  • Rigorously update trailer status and maintenance needs in the system
  • Conduct routine inspections for damage and coordinate maintenance requests to keep the fleet moving
  • Act as the liaison between logistics, maintenance, and loading teams to ensure equipment availability
  • Monitor idle times and frequency of use to optimize fleet efficiency

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French (written and verbal)
  • 1–2 years in customer service or administration
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly master new software (e.g., TruckMate)
  • Problem-solver who remains calm under pressure and possesses strong conflict-resolution skills
  • Thrives in high-transaction environments and consistently meets deadlines
