Job Description:

Our client, a leader in health benefits across Canada, is seeking a Bilingual Disability Case Manager to support employees and employers in managing disability claims. This position requires strong analytical skills and expertise in disability case management.

Job Responsibility:

Assess eligibility for short-term and long-term disability benefits
Analyze and evaluate medical and non-medical documentation to determine functional capabilities, restrictions, and limitations
Implement strategic interventions to facilitate a timely return to work
Conduct telephone interviews to gain a complete understanding of absences and necessary support measures
Guide clients through the absence and return-to-work processes, building strong relationships with both employers and employees
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure claim resolution

Requirements:

Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) – Required to assist clients across Canada
Minimum 2 years of experience in disability case management, disability insurance, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex claims and contracts
Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach
Resilient and capable of managing challenging and sensitive situations
Comfortable working with multiple platforms and digital systems
Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
