We are looking for a bilingual customer service representative to support customers in both Spanish and English within a fast-paced mortgage and banking environment. This contract opportunity is based in Columbia, South Carolina, and is ideal for someone who brings strong call center experience, sound customer support skills, and the ability to handle sensitive financial conversations effectively.
Job Responsibility
Assist customers by phone in Spanish and English, providing clear and courteous support for mortgage and banking-related questions
Manage a high volume of inbound calls while delivering accurate information and a positive service experience
Place outbound calls when follow-up is needed to resolve customer concerns, confirm details, or provide status updates
Enter and update customer information in internal systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Guide customers through account, loan, or service-related inquiries while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards
Document conversations thoroughly so that customer interactions, next steps, and resolutions are clearly recorded
Requirements
Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate professionally in a customer-facing setting
Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, banking, or mortgage support
Ability to manage inbound and outbound phone interactions confidently and efficiently
Strong data entry and order processing skills with close attention to accuracy
Willingness and ability to obtain the required mortgage license and meet state-specific licensing requirements within 90 days of starting the role if not currently licensed
Comfortable handling sensitive customer information with discretion and professionalism
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed in a fast-moving service environment
