We are looking for a dedicated and detail oriented Bilingual Clinic Receptionist in Eugene, Oregon. In this Contract to permanent position, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment and efficient clinic operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion and a high standard of conduct.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome patients and visitors as they arrive at the clinic, assist them with check-in procedures, and direct them to the appropriate staff or area
Provide information to new and potential clients regarding available services and schedule appointments
Maintain appropriate boundaries during all interactions with patients and staff
Address sensitive topics, including sexual health and safer practices, with discretion and without judgment when necessary
Handle daily clinic operations such as opening and closing procedures, maintaining clean and organized community spaces, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
Support office management tasks, including copying, scheduling, and clerical duties
Prepare daily clinic schedules and ensure all necessary paperwork is ready for appointments
Check patients in, verify eligibility, update information in relevant systems, and process completed forms accurately
Schedule follow-up appointments and scan consent forms and other documentation into the system
Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
At least one year of experience in a medical office or two years of administrative experience involving patient or client interaction
Ability to complete a TB test (provided by the agency)
Proficiency in patient scheduling, medical front office tasks, and receptionist duties
Familiarity with basic medical terminology and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in record-keeping and file management
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
