Job Description:

Are you seeking a role where you can apply your customer service expertise while also developing new skills? Do you thrive on interacting with a variety of people each day and helping them resolve their issues? If you have experience in a call center or other high-volume customer service environment, we have the perfect role for you! We are currently hiring Bilingual Claims Agents to join our team in Ottawa, just west of downtown. In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service to customers over the phone and via email, ensuring their claims are handled efficiently and professionally.

Job Responsibility:

inbound & outbound calls in a tactful and professional manner
Assist clients with their submitted claims
Process and verify claims, following the guidelines/procedures
Expedite emergency claims and situations whenever prudent
Math will be required
Assist other departments as necessary to ensure a great customer experience

Requirements:

Bilingualism in French and English (Mandatory)
Must have previous customer service experience (call center strongly preferred)
Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of real estate, mortgages, legal, or banking would be an asset
Experience processing claims would be strongly preferred
High attention to detail and ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance
