Job Description

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a Bilingual Claims Adjuster to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong investigative skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English. The Claims Adjuster will be responsible for reviewing, investigating, and resolving insurance claims while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Investigate, evaluate, and process insurance claims from initial report through resolution
  • Review documentation, interview claimants and witnesses, and gather facts to determine claim validity
  • Communicate with policyholders, attorneys, medical providers, repair vendors, and internal teams in both Spanish and English
  • Assess coverage, determine liability, and calculate appropriate settlement amounts
  • Maintain accurate claim files, notes, and supporting documentation in the claims management system
  • Negotiate settlements within authority limits and escalate complex claims as needed
  • Ensure timely handling of claims in accordance with service standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide professional, empathetic customer service during potentially sensitive situations

Requirements

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English required
  • 2+ years of claims adjusting experience in the insurance industry preferred
  • Knowledge of claims investigation, coverage analysis, liability determination, and settlement practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a high volume of claims and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adjuster’s license preferred if required by state
