The Bilingual Chinese/Mandarin Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to help ensure efficient day-to-day office operations while communicating effectively in both English and Mandarin Chinese. This role supports scheduling, correspondence, document management, customer or client communication, and general office coordination.
Job Responsibility
Provide administrative support to managers, departments, or office leadership
Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist visitors in both English and Mandarin
Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars
Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents
Organize and maintain files, records, and office documentation
Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and general clerical duties
Coordinate office supplies, mail, and routine office operations
Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams in both English and Mandarin
Assist with meeting preparation, travel arrangements, and event coordination as needed
Support special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
associate’s degree preferred
Prior administrative assistant, office support, receptionist, or related experience preferred
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, including verbal and written communication
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
