The Bilingual Case Specialist will work directly with clients to assess needs, develop service plans, connect individuals to community resources, and ensure ongoing support. The ideal candidate is culturally competent, highly organized, and passionate about serving vulnerable populations.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct comprehensive client intake assessments in English and Pashto
Develop individualized service plans and monitor client progress
Provide direct support and advocacy for clients navigating housing, healthcare, employment, education, and social services
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in case management systems
Coordinate with internal teams and external community partners to ensure seamless service delivery
Assist clients with completing applications, forms, and benefit enrollment
Provide crisis intervention and referrals as needed
Participate in outreach initiatives and community engagement efforts
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and funding requirements
Requirements:
Fluency in both English and Pashto (written and verbal) required
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred
1+ year of experience in case management, social services, or nonprofit work preferred
Strong knowledge of community resources and public assistance programs
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases effectively
Nice to have:
Experience working with refugee or immigrant populations
Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management databases
