Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and personable Bilingual Bank Teller to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and has a passion for assisting individuals with their financial needs. As part of a non-profit credit union, this role emphasizes delivering exceptional service while performing accurate financial transactions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers
  • Address account inquiries and provide tailored solutions to meet members' financial needs
  • Promote and educate members about credit union products and services to strengthen relationships
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures while maintaining accurate transaction records
  • Balance cash drawer daily and quickly resolve any discrepancies
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and positive experience for all members
  • Collaborate with team members to support overall branch operations and member satisfaction
  • Travel occasionally to assist other branches when needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial institution or customer service role
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing customer inquiries
  • Strong skills in data entry, email correspondence, and scheduling appointments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage order entry efficiently and accurately
