We are looking for a bilingual Administrative Assistant to support family-centered services for a non-profit organization in Indianapolis, Indiana. This Long-term Contract position focuses on helping families access resources, encouraging strong home environments for children, and strengthening coordination across program services. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, case management experience, and the ability to maintain accurate records while building trusted relationships with families and colleagues. ***Must be fluent in Spanish***
Job Responsibility:
Build positive relationships with families and provide day-to-day administrative and service coordination support in both Spanish and English
Guide families through available programs and community resources while helping them work toward their individual goals
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation, reports, and data entry related to family services and program activity
Assist with recruitment efforts, eligibility review, enrollment processes, and ongoing participation tracking
Monitor attendance records and help coordinate follow-up services to support continued engagement
Respond to inbound calls, answer routine questions, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff or services
Work closely with internal team members and program partners to improve communication and strengthen collaborative support for children and families
Identify family needs, escalate concerns when appropriate, and help connect households with relevant assistance and solutions
Requirements:
Fluency in Spanish is required, with the ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field such as Human Services, Sociology, or Psychology
At least two years of case management experience supporting individuals or families
Valid driver's license is required
Demonstrated strength in administrative support, office coordination, and data entry
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and engage effectively with families, staff, and community partners
Excellent organization and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy
Ability to approach sensitive situations with empathy, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills
