Job Description:

We are seeking actors to appear in our app-based video lessons as language teachers. In these video lessons, you'll be seated behind a table facing a camera and deliver pre-written scripts explaining language concepts and phrases for learners. Chinese teachers will act out bilingual scripts that teach English to speakers of Mandarin.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act out bilingual scripts that teach English to speakers of Mandarin
  • Portray a professional from a non-education industry with helpful, friendly vibes

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English
  • Native-like proficiency and accent in both Chinese and English
  • Not learned Mandarin only in high school or college
  • Ability to deliver Mandarin in a neutral accent that appeals to global Mandarin speakers
  • For native Mandarin speakers: clear, fluent, and easily comprehensible English delivery even with some accent
  • Ability to portray a helpful, friendly professional (not a strict teacher) from a non-education industry
