Job Description:

The Technology Program Analyst APAC is an entry level position responsible for contributing to a variety of development activities in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in applications systems analysis and programming activities. Big Data developer with 0-2 years of experience in building maintaining scalable data pipelines, handling large datasets, and data analytics.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in a 24 month rotational program across a variety of technology areas to develop fundamental knowledge and advanced leadership skills
Develop working knowledge of Citi's information systems, procedures, standards, client server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications
Assist in analysis of business and system processes, and recommend process improvements for assigned areas
Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs
Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

Good understanding of Big Data concepts and ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark)
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python or Scala
Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code for data ingestions and transformation
Familiarity with distributed computing framework like Spark
Good Problem-solving, analytical thinking and debugging skills
Good understanding of CICD, Jira, Git/Bitbucket and change management
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
0-2 years of experience in building maintaining scalable data pipelines, handling large datasets, and data analytics
