Big Data Architect

• Architect Data solutions for Big Data Platform
• Provide solutions business data use case and convert into technical implementation
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
• Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

• 12 to 19 years of relevant experience in Data development
• SQL programming
• Py Spark
• Java Spark
• Impala
• Hive
• HDFS and other Big Data Technologies
• Experience with Big Data Projects for high data volume processing
• Real time streaming and batch processes using Spark
• Expert engineering skills in developing ingestion pipeline for Big Data Platform
• Expert in performance improvement techniques for Data Storage, Data Delivery and SQL Queries
• Thorough knowledge of Data Models and Entity relationships
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Big Data Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
