Job Description

This role supports the Head of Bid Management and sits at the heart of our commercial growth strategy. As a Bid & Submissions Manager, you’ll lead and manage the end-to-end bid process, helping to win, retain and grow business through high-quality, compliant and compelling submissions.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing the full lifecycle of bids from intent to participate through to submission, implementation and handover
  • Producing high-quality, tailored bid responses and executive summaries
  • Ensuring all submissions are fully compliant with client requirements and deadlines
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather content and develop solutions
  • Managing multiple concurrent bids in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining bid libraries, templates and document repositories
  • Identifying new business opportunities (e.g. OJEC portals) and supporting responses
  • Tracking bid activity and progress using internal systems (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Developing continuous improvements to bid processes and best practice

Requirements

  • Strong experience managing bids and tenders in a B2B environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to produce high-quality, persuasive written content
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
  • Experience in logistics or a similar fast-paced environment is advantageous
