We are seeking an experienced IoT Bid Specialist to manage complex bids from qualification through to submission and contracting. This role involves shaping deal strategies, aligning internal stakeholders, and creating high-quality proposals for Vodafone’s enterprise international clients. You will lead virtual project teams, ensure governance, and support customer negotiations to maximise winning opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
Manage complex IoT bids and RFPs with bespoke elements from qualification to submission or contracting
Facilitate bid strategy communication and coach teams for customer presentations
Lead qualification meetings and make informed decisions based on stakeholder input
Review and present commercial propositions, assessing implications of bespoke solutions
Identify risks throughout the bid lifecycle and propose mitigation strategies
Recommend contracting alternatives based on legal and commercial terms
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring timely delivery and quality proposals
Requirements:
Experienced in bids and proposals, preferably in telecoms or related sectors
Fluent in English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
2–4 years of strategic project management experience or equivalent
Commercial acumen with experience in customer-facing negotiations (desired)
Skilled in managing virtual teams and delivering assertive communication
Proficient in PowerPoint and presentation tools
Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident in decision-making
Nice to have:
Knowledge of project management methodologies (Prince2/PMP) is an advantage
APMP or similar accreditation in Bid and Proposal Management is a plus
Understanding of IoT industry and global competitive landscape is desirable
