The role is based in Hemel Hempstead, working Monday to Friday and will report to our Bid Support Manager. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bid Officer to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a critical part in supporting bid submissions and managing strategic frameworks to help drive our growth. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Administration of the central mailboxes, which involves processing and actioning internal and external emails in line with company processes and procedures
  • Working with bid managers and colleagues to prepare tender and proposal documentation, including template set up and completing standard company bid information
  • Processing clarifications received from customers, ensuring they’re distributed and actioned in line with bid process
  • Uploading documents and correspondence to internal and external portals, ensuring robust document control
  • Formatting tender documentation for final submission to the customer and uploading tender submissions to procurement portals in line with ITT requirements
  • Graphic creation and editing
  • Reviewing and processing tender notices, including completion of portal registrations and maintaining and updating NEC corporate information on external web sites
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and external customers on which frameworks NEC has been awarded a place and what can be procured through each
  • Undertake other administrative tasks for the other functions within the team as required
  • Support the preparation and formatting of bid documents
  • Maintain and update bid trackers, templates, and records
  • Ensure all submissions meet client requirements and deadlines
