Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager / Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients in Kent. You will be joining a busy team delivering a variety of hard FM services to clients throughout the South East.

Job Responsibility

  • Tender preparation, organising and leading tenders for various projects and collaborating with the project team to gather information and develop bid strategies
  • Identifying potential risks and opportunities and proposing engineering solutions
  • Evaluating and analysing the financial aspects of tender returns, cost estimates, pricing strategies and profitability assessments
  • Cost management and supplier and subcontractor management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a bid management and quantity surveying within the mechanical and electrical contracting industry
  • excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to think commercially and identify practical solutions to bid challenges
  • Experience in a bid management, estimating, or quantity surveying role within a specialist façade or construction subcontracting environment (required)
