Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Bid Manager in Cybersecurity (f/m) to join our Airbus Cybersecurity SAS based in Elancourt (78), Rennes (35) or Toulouse (31). You will be part of the "Airbus DS Cyber Programmes » business unit and will report to the Head Of Bids & Programmes. In this context, you will manage a range of bids for Airbus DS Cyber Programmes clients (Defense clients, European institutions, or international clients). Occasional business trips are to be expected in France and abroad.

Job Responsibility:

  • Defining with key stakeholders a winning bid strategy aligned with the organisation’s goals and providing differentiators with respect to the competition
  • Overseeing the entire bid management process, from the opportunity qualification to the contract negotiation
  • Creating a bid plan and shaping a compelling and competitive offer
  • Leading, motivating and coordinating the efforts of multiple functional teams and contributors to ensure the successful production and delivery of the bid
  • Driving the development of all aspects of the bid proposal: technical offer, cost estimates, risks, pricing, commercial offer, compliance matrix, delivery schedule
  • Writing, editing and reviewing proposal contents
  • Ensuring bids compliance and responsiveness
  • Developing and securing new businesses

Requirements:

  • Holder of an Engineering degree or Master's degree in a technical field
  • At least 10 years' experience managing and delivering large, complex bids (several million euros)
  • Experience in the defence sector: NATO, European Defence Agency, Ministry of Defence
  • Ability to deal with customers, partners and suppliers
  • CyberSecurity or Information Technology background
  • Listening to the customer and supporting them towards new contracts
  • Analytical, negotiation and synthesis skills
  • Negotiation level in English and French
  • This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities
  • You must be a French citizen and this position requires a security clearance from recognized authorities as per the IGI 1300 of August 9, 2021 (§1.2.2.1)
