HSO India plays a critical role as a global offshore bid support hub, partnering with regional sales teams across ANZ, EMEA, UK, and other markets. The Bid Manager – Offshore / Global Bid Support will act as a central pursuit lead from India, supporting high-value, complex global bids by driving structured qualification, governance, content orchestration, and submission excellence. This role is not a quota-carrying sales position. Instead, it focuses on enabling regional sales teams by bringing rigor, consistency, speed, and quality to the bid lifecycle, ensuring proposals are compliant, compelling, and aligned with HSO’s delivery and commercial standards.
Job Responsibility:
Global Bid Qualification & Governance: Support and facilitate structured bid qualification (capture plans, stakeholder maps, risk/fit assessments) in collaboration with regional sales and engagement teams
Drive go/no-go preparation by coordinating inputs, analysing risks, and ensuring data-backed recommendations for leadership decisions
Manage bid governance checkpoints, approvals, and documentation to ensure auditability and adherence to HSO policies
Ensure all bids comply with client RFP instructions, regional procurement requirements, and internal quality standards (ISO-aligned where applicable)
Offshore Bid Management & Delivery Support: Own the end-to-end offshore coordination of global bids from opportunity handover through final submission
Act as the single point of contact from India for bid execution, ensuring clarity, timelines, and accountability
Build and manage virtual, cross-geography pursuit teams including regional sales, presales, solution architects, delivery leaders, finance, and legal
Develop detailed bid plans, schedules, review calendars, and compliance matrices to manage parallel workstreams across time zones
Content Orchestration & Proposal Development: Coordinate creation and integration of proposal content including executive summaries, solution descriptions, delivery models, commercial responses, and CVs
Ensure proposal messaging aligns with agreed win themes, value propositions, and regional client expectations
Manage storyboarding sessions, content reviews, and red/blue team feedback cycles in collaboration with regional stakeholders
Ensure consistency of language, structure, and branding across all bid artefacts
Competitive & Commercial Support: Support competitive analysis by consolidating intelligence on competitors, pricing cues, differentiators, and past bid learnings
Assist regional teams with proposal positioning while ensuring deliverability from an offshore and global delivery perspective
Partner with finance and legal teams to coordinate commercial inputs, assumptions, and risk clarifications
Process Standardisation & Knowledge Management: Implement and continuously improve standard offshore bid processes, templates, and playbooks
Maintain and curate a global bid content library (case studies, credentials, CVs, reusable responses)
Track bid KPIs such as submission timeliness, compliance scores, rework reduction, and win/loss insights
Capture lessons learned and feed continuous improvement back into global bid practices
Stakeholder & Global Collaboration: Act as a trusted offshore partner to regional sales leaders, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and dependencies
Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and risk flags to global and regional stakeholders
Ensure cultural sensitivity and regional alignment while supporting multiple geographies from India
Requirements:
6–8 years of experience in bid management, proposal management, or pursuit support within IT services, consulting, or professional services
Strong experience supporting global or regional bids from an offshore/India delivery model
Hands-on expertise in RFP/RFQ response management, compliance tracking, and multi-stakeholder coordination
Proven ability to manage tight deadlines across multiple time zones
Excellent written English skills with strong attention to detail and structured thinking
Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior global leaders
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint, Teams, and CRM tools such as Dynamics 365
Nice to have:
APMP / Shipley or equivalent bid management certification
Experience supporting ANZ, UK, EMEA, or Public Sector bids
