Job Description:

A leading fire engineering consultancy seeks a Bid Administrator to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, supporting our national bid function and helping secure high-profile projects across the built environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the bid team in producing compliant, compelling tender submissions
  • Coordinating inputs from technical teams and ensuring consistency across documents
  • Managing and formatting bid content, templates, and supporting materials
  • Monitoring deadlines and submission portals to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintaining bid libraries and supporting the continuous improvement of bid processes

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bid administration, document control, or similar coordination roles
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to engage colleagues at all levels
