A leading fire engineering consultancy seeks a Bid Administrator to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, supporting our national bid function and helping secure high-profile projects across the built environment.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting the bid team in producing compliant, compelling tender submissions
Coordinating inputs from technical teams and ensuring consistency across documents
Managing and formatting bid content, templates, and supporting materials
Monitoring deadlines and submission portals to ensure timely delivery
Maintaining bid libraries and supporting the continuous improvement of bid processes
Requirements:
Previous experience in bid administration, document control, or similar coordination roles
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to engage colleagues at all levels
