Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BI & Reporting Lead to join our horizontal Data Governance team within the Services organization at Citi. This role will be pivotal in driving the Reporting & Dashboards workstream. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data lifecycle, data warehousing & BI concepts and stakeholder engagement. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting & dashboards that support data governance, compliance, and business insights.

Job Responsibility:

Engage with business stakeholders to gather high-level requirements and translate them into actionable user stories
Design mockups and dashboard wireframes that align with business needs and governance standards
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to design and implement reporting solutions using Tableau
Own the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure sprint goals align with project timelines and stakeholder expectations
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user training sessions, and ongoing stakeholder communication
Perform data validations and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity in dashboards
Collaborate with the broader data governance team to embed governance principles in reporting solutions
Support the adoption of dashboards by tracking user feedback and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Relevant experience in data and analytics roles, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
Experience business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Strong knowledge of SQL and understanding of data modelling, data warehousing & reporting concepts
Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and dashboard designs
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology, including sprint planning and backlog management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with data governance operating models, data management subject areas (such as metadata management, data quality, record management, data privacy) and tools is a strong plus
Understanding of project management principles, a proactive mindset, and keen attention to detail.
