Job Description

Checkmarx is seeking an experienced BI Developer to design, build, and scale modern data solutions and analytics applications in a SaaS environment. This role combines data engineering, BI development, and Snowflake-native AI capabilities to deliver reliable datasets, dashboards, and AI-driven insights.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and ELT processes using Snowflake and integration tools (Workato, Rivery)
  • Own data flows between Salesforce and the data warehouse, including ingestion, transformation, and validation
  • Extract, model, and transform Salesforce data into analytics-ready dashboards
  • Build scalable data transformation workflows using Snowflake transformation tools, DBT, including testing, documentation, and modular design
  • Develop and maintain dimensional data models aligned with business use cases
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through validation checks, automated tests, and monitoring
  • Support BI tools (e.g., Sisense) with curated datasets and consistent metric definitions
  • Monitor pipelines and integrations with logging, alerting, and error handling mechanisms

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Engineer in a SaaS environment
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake (development, optimization, and data modeling)
  • Strong experience working with Salesforce data, including understanding of core objects (Accounts, Opportunities, Contracts, Leads, Activities)
  • Experience handling Salesforce data extraction, replication, and transformation
  • Familiarity with Salesforce schema, relationships, and data limitations
  • Experience developing and supporting BI tools such as Sisense, Tableau, PBI
  • Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines from Salesforce to a data warehouse
  • Experience with integration tools such as Workato, Rivery
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (star schema) and data warehousing concepts
  • System analysis skills, including requirement gathering, field mapping, and impact analysis
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
