Perform UNV to UNX conversion using Information Design Tool (IDT), ensuring functional equivalence
Update and configure data connections to point from Yellowbrick to Snowflake (ODBC/JDBC, drivers, connection parameters)
Validate generated SQL against Snowflake to ensure correct semantics and performance
Update Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports to use Snowflake-based universes or direct connections, without changing layout or KPIs
Ensure that report structure, formulas, variables, prompts, filters, and sections behave identically
Ensure all scheduled jobs, publications, and bursting continue to work after pointing to Snowflake
Fix issues where reports rely on Yellowbrick-specific SQL or functions, replacing them with Snowflake-compatible logic while preserving business behavior
Perform side-by-side comparisons of reports running on Yellowbrick vs Snowflake: totals, subtotals, row counts, groupings, and key KPIs, prompt behavior and filter logic
Monitor and compare report performance and refresh times before and after migration
Requirements
7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Reporting development, with strong hands-on work in SAP BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports
Direct experience in BI replatforming/migration projects, preferably involving database/platform changes (e.g., moving from MPP DWs like Yellowbrick/Teradata/Netezza to Snowflake or similar)
Strong experience with SAP BO tools: Universe Designer / IDT (Information Design Tool) – building and maintaining UNV and UNX universes
Web Intelligence (WebI) report development and troubleshooting
Knowledge of Publications, Scheduling, and Security (users, groups, folders)
Hands-on experience with Crystal Reports design, parameters, formulas, and data connectivity
Proven experience in UNV → UNX conversion and post-conversion validation
