Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative and analytical BI Consultant to join our team in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. As a BI Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients solve complex data challenges and make informed decisions through actionable insights. Job Responsibility:

  • Collect and analyse data from various sources to develop comprehensive business intelligence solutions
  • design, develop, and optimise user-friendly dashboards and reports using cutting-edge BI tools
  • collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective data visualisations
  • implement best practices in data modelling and visual design to enhance the quality of reports and visualisations
  • optimise datasets and improve dashboard performance for efficient data processing
  • provide expert guidance and coaching to colleagues and clients on BI best practices and methodologies
  • contribute to the strategic vision and development of our BI practice and unit
  • stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in business intelligence and data visualisation

Requirements:

  • HBO or WO degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • minimum of 3 years' experience with at least one of the following BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or D3.js
  • proven track record in optimising dashboard performance and implementing visual design principles
  • strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly
  • proficiency in data warehousing concepts and SQL
  • experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C# is advantageous
  • knowledge of UX design principles is a plus
  • excellent communication skills in both Dutch (required) and English
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coach colleagues and clients
  • creative problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach and keen attention to detail
  • experience in various industries and ability to understand diverse business contexts
  • willingness to push boundaries in digital transformation and technology consulting

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of UX design principles
  • experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#
