Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative and analytical BI Consultant to join our team in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. As a BI Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients solve complex data challenges and make informed decisions through actionable insights. Job Responsibility:

Collect and analyse data from various sources to develop comprehensive business intelligence solutions
design, develop, and optimise user-friendly dashboards and reports using cutting-edge BI tools
collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective data visualisations
implement best practices in data modelling and visual design to enhance the quality of reports and visualisations
optimise datasets and improve dashboard performance for efficient data processing
provide expert guidance and coaching to colleagues and clients on BI best practices and methodologies
contribute to the strategic vision and development of our BI practice and unit
stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in business intelligence and data visualisation

Requirements:

HBO or WO degree in Information Technology or a related field
minimum of 3 years' experience with at least one of the following BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or D3.js
proven track record in optimising dashboard performance and implementing visual design principles
strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly
proficiency in data warehousing concepts and SQL
experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C# is advantageous
knowledge of UX design principles is a plus
excellent communication skills in both Dutch (required) and English
ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coach colleagues and clients
creative problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach and keen attention to detail
experience in various industries and ability to understand diverse business contexts
willingness to push boundaries in digital transformation and technology consulting

Nice to have:

Knowledge of UX design principles
experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#
