Job Description:

OneNet is seeking a BI Consultant skilled in the Microsoft BI technology suite, to join our rapidly expanding team. OneNet Limited is a pioneer and New Zealand market leader in cloud computing. We are experiencing rapid growth in Australasia. OneNet's clients include corporate and multinational clients, as well as start-ups.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years' experience in a subset of the following, with the ability and desire to learn the remainder
  • Designing and implementing BI and analytics solutions, ideally within a consulting capacity, with at least one major project under your belt
  • Data modelling / data architecture experience
  • Data warehousing - Dimensional Modelling / Schema Design (e.g. Kimball method)
  • Big data architecture, methods and tools
  • Data mining, machine learning, statistical modelling and data visualisation
  • Manipulating and analysing complex, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
  • ETL development, building data pipelines, data migration design
  • Source system analysis
  • Data governance, master data management and metadata management
  • Data quality and profiling
  • Stakeholder management, requirements gathering, solution design
  • Technologies you would have used should include: Microsoft SQL Server (including 2016/2017), SSAS (tabular and multidimensional), SSRS, SSIS
  • Microsoft Power BI, or previous experience in Tableau or Qlikview
  • Azure experience, ideally services within the Cortana Intelligence Suite, such as Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, HDInsight, Cosmos DB, or equivalent experience in AWS
  • R development experience
