Job Description:

You will be a key member of a talented team, designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive business intelligence (BI) solutions. You will work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data-driven insights are effectively used across multiple projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process, from data extraction and transformation to the creation of compelling reports in Power BI.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions to understand Power BI reporting needs
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction from diverse sources including Azure, GCP, and SQL databases
  • Design, develop, and implement interactive and insightful Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, ETL processes, and reports
  • Collaborate with tech teams in Paris and Japan to ensure seamless integration and automation
  • Validate KPI accuracy, definitions, and details, obtaining sign-off from business users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI reporting and data quality
  • Develop and maintain ad-hoc BI reports as needed

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in developing and implementing BI solutions using Power BI
  • Expert knowledge of DAX and advanced data modeling techniques within Power BI
  • Proficient in SQL and capable of writing complex queries against diverse data sources
  • Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Dataiku)
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and data modeling best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Fluent English is mandatory
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, GCP) is highly desirable
  • Basic Japanese language skills are a plus
