Job Description

Our client, a multi-site manufacturer in the Portland area, is looking for a hands-on BI and AI Solutions Developer to join their team. In this role, you'll own the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of business intelligence and analytics solutions across a complex manufacturing and business systems environment. You'll work closely with operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership to drive data-driven decision-making company-wide.

Job Responsibility

  • Designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and datasets
  • Integrating and structuring data across ERP, MES, shop floor equipment, and cloud-based business platforms
  • Cleaning up, standardizing, and improving existing reports and data sources across the organization
  • Leveraging AI-assisted analytics and automation tools to accelerate analysis and surface actionable insights
  • Supporting the development of scalable data models to enable future AI and advanced analytics initiatives

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Analytics Development, or Data Development role
  • Strong Power BI skills including data modeling, DAX, dashboard/report development, and data transformation
  • Advanced SQL proficiency — querying, joins, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Experience developing reports using SSRS
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across technical and non-technical teams
  • Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment — we do not sponsor work visas

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP-connected reporting environments
  • SSIS and/or SSAS experience
  • Exposure to AI-assisted analytics tools or copilots
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex operational environments
