IMI Agency specializes in Building Better Beverage Business™ for our hospitality clients, offering innovative marketing programs and promotions, interactive food & beverage merchandising and operations tools, staff training, and recognition/reward programs for all channels in the Hospitality industry. IMI programs create brand value and opportunities with consumers while driving food and beverage sales and profits for our Hospitality Operator clients.
Job Responsibility:
Become a trusted partner and liaise for the client, partnering with the Client’s Marketing team to identify and define project scopes, objectives, and requirements
Development of the annual beverage category marketing programs, promotions, and implementation strategies that support revenue generation goals
Develop new concepts based on industry trends and consumer insights
Oversee all stages of program development and field rollout, including tracking tasks, managing communications, and coordinating with third-party creative firms, architecture firms, and general contractors
Build guides and brand books for new concept rollout and scaling
maintain concept standards in collaboration with field teams
Measure sales results of existing programs and concepts and make recommendations for optimization
Manage and organize client-supplier marketing, promotional programming, and distributor relations for the clients’ United States locations under the beverage program
Work directly with Client’s operations leadership to roll out beverage programming across multiple verticals
Provide the Client with weekly and monthly reporting and recaps
Maintain budget for activations
Ensure beverage program initiatives align with federal, state, and local regulations by working with the Director of Accounts
Assist Client with beverage menu development and venue signage by working with internal and external creative teams
Report project results and risk management – escalating issues as needed based on the project plans
Prioritize tasks and assignments, ensuring all responsibilities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Assist in planning beverage portions of large-scale meetings, conferences, and events
Assist in performing beverage supplier solicitations, negotiations, invoicing, and collection as assigned
Assist in coordinating venue site visit audits with 3rd party firm(s) to monitor and drive compliance of Client beverage programs
Perform any other assignments as directed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Events, Business, a related field, or equivalent working experience
Proven working experience in large-scale or national Hospitality, Concessionaire, or Supply Chain Beverage Program Management, including activations and training(s)
Advanced knowledge of the alcohol beverage industry, related products, beverage operations, and the three-tiered system
High level of experience analyzing data, instituting program or project changes based on sales, and creating program metrics to measure results
Advanced understanding and applied experience in/of on-premises beverage performance standards
Proven creative experience with implementing beverage promotions
Successful track record of completing high-level Project Management duties
Maintained database for budgets and record of expenditures
Experience communicating effectively with all levels of management, including high-level stakeholders
Demonstrated communication and creative writing skills
“Roll up your sleeves” strong work ethic, with a solution-driven mentality
An organized self-starter, confident in his/her abilities, self-motivated, and able to work independently
The ability to multitask, handling several projects simultaneously with minimal direction
High-energy interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
High proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent organizational skills, including time and project management
Hospitable, with a service-prone, client-first mentality
