Job Description:

Beverage Cart Attendants will provide exceptional service to members and guests on the golf course. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to engage with guests while efficiently serving beverages and snacks.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Drive the beverage cart throughout the golf course, taking and delivering orders promptly
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and light fare while ensuring compliance with club policies and state liquor laws
  • Prepare itemized checks and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Check identification of patrons to verify they meet the minimum age requirement for alcohol purchases
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart, restocking supplies as needed
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Communicate with the clubhouse regarding inventory needs and cart maintenance
  • Provide information about club offerings and assist with special events as needed

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma is preferred but may be waived with the right level of experience (3+ years serving experience in a fine dining or high volume environment)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length
  • Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited space
  • Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs., including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items on a regular and continuing basis
  • Understand and respond to employee and guest verbal requests and visual cues in a loud and extremely busy environment
