Job Description

In this role you’ll be responsible for driving clarity across project timelines, interdependencies, and resource requirements—ensuring the portfolio remains on track, optimised, and aligned with business objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead portfolio-level planning for a multi-site BESS pipeline, from early development to commissioning
  • Build and maintain integrated master schedules covering development, design, procurement, construction, and grid works
  • Identify key risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities, ensuring proactive mitigation across the portfolio
  • Work with project managers, engineers, grid specialists, and commercial teams to ensure consistent planning standards and performance tracking
  • Develop reporting dashboards and provide portfolio insights to senior leadership
  • Support investment decisions through schedule modelling, scenario planning, and critical path analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, systems, and governance

Requirements

  • Strong background in portfolio or programme planning within energy, infrastructure, renewables, utilities, or other capital project environments
  • Experience with battery storage, flexible generation, or grid‑connected assets (advantageous)
  • Expertise in planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project controls systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
