Job Description

As a Bespoke Team Leader, you will get the chance to supervise a small team working on various bespoke, high-quality soft and hard landscaping projects with in our construction area. This could be anything from a new build, front lawn, rear garden, or public open space. This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills, learn more and provide high quality work for numerous exciting contracts.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in soft & hard landscaping including planting, turfing, mulching, tree planting & seeding
  • Hard Landscaping experience would be an advantage
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • A full valid UK driving licence
  • A valid CSCS card is an advantage but not essential - but must be willing to obtain one to secure this position
  • A strong health and safety mindset

Nice to have

  • Hard Landscaping experience
  • A valid CSCS card

  • Overseeing your section and staff in your department
  • Ensuring all equipment, fixtures and fittings are in efficient working order and well presented, and to report to department management when this is not the case
  • Ensuring stock rotation is taking place and your team are confident in this process, while also completing the monthly stock takes
  • Support the team in your section with customer / equipment / process issues etc
  • Follow the See, Care, Share guidelines
  • Always staying vigilant to security matters
  • Lead by example in appearance, approach, and professionalism and train where needed
  • Ensure you section is aware of any promotions, events, bespoke requests within the NT
  • Pre-empt customers' needs and provide a tailored level of customer service, always aiming to exceed expectations
