Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Bengali speaker to join our team. You will play a vital role in helping our students succeed in their exams and feel at home in our school.

Job Responsibility:

  • Translation: Helping students understand lessons by translating instructions from English to Bengali
  • Exam Support: Acting as a reader or scribe for students during their exams
  • Communication: Helping teachers talk with Bengali-speaking parents and families
  • Student Well-being: Making sure students feel confident and supported in the classroom

Requirements:

  • To be fluent in both Bengali and English
  • A patient and helpful attitude toward young people
  • The ability to explain tricky words in a simple way
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one immediately)
