Job Responsibility:
Supervise staff in the Benefits Verification Department
Provide direction to staff within Pharmacy operations
Ensure patient benefits are verified according to company guidelines
Ensure patient expectations are met for exceptional customer service and business profitability
Direct daily workflow to ensure production and quality goals are met
Coordinate procedural changes
Resolve issues/problems related to department and company
Evaluate and review employee performance
Coach, motivate and counsel staff including administering disciplinary action
Interviewing and hiring
Daily supervision of staff to ensure department and company policies are followed
Direct and implement department and pharmacy wide projects
Track and report progress of projects
Analyze call/performance statistics
Requirements:
One year of supervisory experience in a related environment
Three years experience working with medical insurance or in a pharmacy environment
Must live within 75 miles of a CVS Specialty Location
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
Nice to have:
Specialty pharmacy experience
Experience working with strict deadlines and ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis
Experience in a high intensity, fast paced production environment
Ability to effectively manage people and provide team leadership
Extreme accuracy, and attention to detail and data standards
Ability to work in teams and coordinate work efforts
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Attention to customer focus to ensure patients are responded to with accurate and timely information
Ability to evaluate work and process flow to ensure optimal efficiencies
