Job Description:

Coram/CVS Health is looking for a high-energy healthcare professional to join our National team as a Authorization Specialist. This rewarding opportunity allows you to work closely with our Patient Intake coordinators and insurance providers.

Job Responsibility:

Work closely with Patient Intake coordinators and insurance providers
Healthcare insurance verification
Obtaining medical authorizations

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience working in a customer service or call center environment
Data entry experience
Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word
Experience working in a healthcare environment
Experience working with healthcare insurance verification or obtaining medical authorizations
Experience with specialty infusion medications

Nice to have:

Experience with claim/call center environment
Technical skills
Problem solving skills
Negotiation skills
Well organized
Prioritizes tasks effectively
Solid written and oral communication skills
