Job Responsibility:
Verify insurance coverage for both new and existing patients
Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner
Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals and insurance carriers
Requirements:
6 + months of experience with medical insurance, benefits verification, medical billing or a patient/ healthcare customer service
Verifiable High School diploma or GED
Nice to have:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Healthcare related field
Pharmacy experience (PBM, Specialty, etc)
Previous experience working with Prior Authorizations
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party vendors
Healthcare related certifications and/or licensure
