Job Responsibility

  • Verify insurance coverage for both new and existing patients
  • Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals and insurance carriers

Requirements

  • 6 + months of experience with medical insurance, benefits verification, medical billing or a patient/ healthcare customer service
  • Verifiable High School diploma or GED

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Healthcare related field
  • Pharmacy experience (PBM, Specialty, etc)
  • Previous experience working with Prior Authorizations
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party vendors
  • Healthcare related certifications and/or licensure
