Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Benefits Specialist to join our team in Pasadena, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and enhance employee benefits programs while ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional support. Job Responsibility:

  • Administer a variety of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary offerings
  • Oversee employee enrollment processes, status updates, and resolution of claims to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain and update benefits-related resources across internal platforms to keep information accessible and accurate
  • Manage 401(k) retirement plans, including enrollments, loans, withdrawals, and compliance reporting
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefit options and eligibility requirements
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of benefits services
  • Conduct regular audits of benefits plans to confirm compliance with regulations and organizational policies
  • Address inquiries and concerns related to FMLA, disability, and other employee benefits
  • Analyze and evaluate benefits programs to recommend improvements and cost-effective solutions

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration and employee support
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, including retirement and 401(k) plans
  • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for benefits management and reporting
  • Familiarity with FMLA regulations and disability benefits processes
  • Ability to handle complex benefit functions, including analysis and coordination across diverse programs
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to address employee inquiries and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Experience in managing and verifying various benefit packages, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
