We’re partnering with a well-established, multi-state organization to hire a Benefits Specialist who will play a key role in delivering a positive employee experience across a large, diverse workforce. In this role, you’ll be the go-to resource for employees and leaders on benefits and leave-related questions. You’ll balance administrative precision with a high level of employee interaction.
Job Responsibility
Administer and support employee benefits programs, including open enrollment and annual renewals
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions—ensuring timely, clear, and supportive communication
Manage leave of absence processes, including FMLA, and guide employees through documentation and eligibility
Partner with leadership and managers to address employee needs across multiple locations
Maintain and update benefit records within HRIS systems
Support compliance efforts, including tracking regulatory changes and coordinating handbook updates
Proactively follow up with employees to ensure they understand and elect appropriate coverage
Requirements
3+ years of experience in benefits administration, HR, or related field
Solid understanding of FMLA, ADA, ACA, COBRA, and general benefits practices
Experience working with HRIS platforms (any system
exposure to benefits systems is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex information in a clear, approachable way
