Job Responsibility

  • Generating new business opportunities, managing the end-to-end sales process, and ensuring client retention through consistent relationship management
  • Prospecting appropriate business in line with company and business segment goals & thresholds
  • Presenting proposals professionally, reviewing coverages in detail to ensure understanding
  • Communicating with clients, prospects, insurance company partners, and the service team professionally
  • Finalizing the sale and collecting necessary documents, applications, etc., and briefing the service team on the policy sale
  • Actively participating in social, civic, trade organizations and industry networking events which will assist in promoting the agency and obtaining referrals
  • Maintaining understanding and knowledge of underwriting criteria to effectively communicate to all involved parties
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly new business goals
  • Reviewing and resolving client disputes regarding complex claims

Requirements

  • Valid Producer license in good standing
  • Experience in prospecting and finding business, building and maintaining a pipeline, and having been successful as a validated producer
  • Minimum of 3 years of independent agency experience
  • College Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management or related field
