The Benefits Manager oversees the administration, compliance, and strategic planning of corporate benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), and employee leave programs. The role ensures benefits are competitive, cost‑effective, and aligned with organizational goals, with rigorous adherence to federal and state regulations, including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and USERRA.
Job Responsibility:
Administer benefits for multiple companies and contracts, including Service Contract Act (SCA) and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements
Manage employee leave programs (FMLA and other applicable leave policies)
Oversee Workers’ Compensation and OSHA reporting and partner with Safety/Legal on incident management
Serve as the primary benefits contact for all Yulista Holding locations
Collaborate with the Corporate Benefits team to price, design, and procure benefits for current and future contracts
support proposal development with benefit cost inputs
Lead annual Open Enrollment end-to-end (plan design updates, communications, HRIS configuration, vendor coordination, timelines, and post‑enrollment audits)
Conduct benefits meetings for new contracts and annual enrollment
travel to contract locations as needed
Develop clear, inclusive communications and materials for new hires, open enrollment, and recruiting
Supervise benefits staff with coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
allocate workload and drive process consistency
Resolve employee inquiries
interpret benefit policies
escalate complex issues as appropriate
Maintain accurate HRIS data and produce routine and ad‑hoc reports
analyze trends (utilization, cost, participation) to inform plan design
