Job Description:

As a Benefits Launch Manager at Miter, you’ll lead end-to-end implementations of our fast-growing Benefits Administration product, now serving 150+ clients with a 60% attach rate. You’ll partner with employers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure clients are onboarded smoothly and accurately from kickoff through first payroll deduction. You’ll be an early member of the Benefits function, helping build the systems, playbooks, and tools that make onboarding scalable as we grow. This is a high-impact, client-facing role that blends process-building, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the full benefits implementation lifecycle, from kickoff to the first payroll deduction
  • Translate plan documents into system configurations for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary benefits
  • Configure plan eligibility, enrollment rules, and deductions in Miter with accuracy
  • Collaborate with brokers and client stakeholders to ensure clean and complete plan setup
  • Lead trainings for employers, brokers, and internal teams on Miter’s BenAdmin
  • Serve as a go-to resource for questions around plan configuration, enrollment, eligibility, and compliance
  • Work cross-functionally with product, launch, and support teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth transitions
  • Develop and iterate on playbooks, SOPs, and onboarding templates to create a repeatable, high-quality implementation process
  • Identify opportunities for product and process improvements based on client needs

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience leading benefits implementations or system rollouts for external clients– ideally in a client-facing role at a brokerage, HR tech company, or carrier
  • A strong grasp of how to configure and launch benefits plans (medical, dental, vision, life, FSA/HSA, etc.) inside an HRIS or ben-admin system—with comfort navigating enrollment files, eligibility rules, and payroll deductions
  • Strong proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets to manage enrollment data and configuration
  • Strong project management and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
  • Clear, empathetic communicator with a customer-first mindset
What we offer:
  • Competitive Compensation: We offer competitive (well above “market”) salary, commission, and equity packages
  • Medical Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, FSA, vision plans to suit you and your family’s needs
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan: Company-matched contributions to help you plan for your future
  • Unlimited PTO: Take the time you need to recharge and be your best self
  • Parental Leave: Generous 16-week paid leave for all parents, including adoptive and foster parents
  • Learning & Development: We offer every employee an annual educational allowance to explore external professional development
  • Office Extras: Snacks, coffee, lunch, and commuter benefits for in-office Mitosaurs
  • Community: Multiple company-wide and team-specific offsites per year
