We are looking for an experienced Benefits Coordinator to join our team in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to take ownership of benefit-related processes and provide critical support to employees. Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee the open enrollment process, including developing communication materials, setting timelines, and ensuring follow-up
Ensure accurate enrollment in benefit programs and perform regular billing reconciliations
Monitor compliance with organizational guidelines and applicable benefits regulations
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing questions and resolving benefit-related issues
Support onboarding processes by preparing and maintaining benefits-related documentation
Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate deductions and seamless integration of benefits-related data
Assist with the administration of FMLA, workers' compensation, and 401(k) programs
Provide training and guidance to employees on available benefit options and policies
Maintain detailed records and reports to support audits and compliance reviews
Requirements:
Proven experience in benefits administration, including enrollment, billing, or coordination
Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements related to benefits and HR policies
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive processes effectively
Familiarity with invoice reconciliation and billing procedures is highly preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with a comfort level in providing direct support to employees
Proficiency in using payroll or benefits management systems
Knowledge of HR-related processes such as onboarding and training
Exposure to payroll processing or broader HR functions is an advantage
Nice to have:
Experience with Paychex is a plus
