We’re hiring a Benefits Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of our employee benefits programs and serve as a helpful, reliable resource for employees. You’ll be the person people go to when they have questions, need help, or just want someone to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. You’ll handle enrollments, updates, and ensure everything stays accurate and organized behind the scenes. This role is designated as hybrid. Initial training and onboarding will take place on-site in our Post Falls, ID office to ensure you’re set up for success. After approximately the first 30 days, you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week, depending on team needs and performance.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to employee questions about benefits and leave of absence (clearly and helpfully)
Process enrollments, qualifying life events, and benefit changes accurately
Support open enrollment from start to finish
Work with vendors and insurance carriers to resolve issues
Maintain clean, organized, and accurate records
Help ensure compliance with benefits-related regulations
Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Identify issues and fix them before they become bigger problems
Requirements:
1+ years supporting employee benefits administration (enrollments, changes, employee support) or experience in claims, member services, or benefits support at an insurance company or broker
Exposure to open enrollment, qualifying life events, or leave of absence processes
Experience working in an HRIS or benefits administration system
Understanding of how medical, dental, and vision plans work
Experience reviewing, processing, or explaining claims or coverage
Customer service mindset
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
