We are looking for a dedicated Benefits Coordinator to join our team in Palo Alto, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance, and providing exceptional support to staff. Job Responsibility:
Administer and manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
Oversee COBRA administration processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Coordinate and track leave of absence requests, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication
Provide guidance to employees on compensation and benefits policies, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively
Collaborate with HR teams to refine and improve benefits-related processes
Ensure adherence to legal and organizational standards in all benefits-related activities
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reporting
Monitor updates in benefits regulations and implement necessary changes to stay compliant
Support the development and delivery of training sessions related to employee benefits
Serve as a liaison between employees, third-party vendors, and insurance providers to address benefits-related matters
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in benefits coordination or a related HR function
Strong knowledge of COBRA administration and leave of absence processes
Familiarity with compensation and benefits policies and procedures
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and external vendors
Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation for compliance purposes
Ability to stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes
Nice to have:
Experience in the Hi Tech Engineering industry is an advantage
