We are looking for a dedicated Benefits Coordinator to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will focus on administering employee benefits programs, managing leave of absence processes, and supporting onboarding efforts to ensure a seamless experience for new team members. As part of a long-term contract position, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance, providing valuable insights, and fostering a positive workplace environment.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
Manage leave of absence processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies
Coordinate onboarding and orientation to provide a smooth transition for employees
Collaborate with brokers and vendors during annual benefits renewal to evaluate and implement competitive plan options
Analyze benefits data and participation metrics to deliver actionable insights and reports to leadership
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations related to benefits and leave policies
Maintain and update employee records within HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, escalating complex issues to senior HR personnel when necessary
Participate in benchmarking activities to support the development of competitive compensation and benefits packages
Review and update HR policies to align with legal requirements and industry best practices
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role
Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, including COBRA and leave of absence management
Proficiency in HR systems, preferably UKG Pro or similar platforms
Familiarity with compensation structures and benefits coordination processes
Ability to analyze data and provide clear reports on benefits and participation metrics
Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations related to benefits compliance
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing employee records
Effective communication skills to address employee inquiries and collaborate with HR leadership
