Temporary part-time Benefits Assistant position in the Human Resources Department of the Town of Belmont. The position reports to the Human Resources Director, and is responsible for assisting in the administration of all Town benefit plans offered to employees and retirees. Days and hours can be flexible. Additional hours may be available during peak periods throughout the year. The position is expected to end June 30.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting in the administration of all Town benefit plans offered to employees and retirees
assisting new hires with benefits orientations and processing of all related benefits paperwork
assisting in the organization of the town’s Annual Benefit Fairs and Open Enrollments, Town transition to G.I.C.
collaboration with payroll and the Belmont Retirement office to insure proper accounting of benefits deductions, changes, and reconciliations.
Requirements:
Associate degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
three years related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge skills and abilities for this job
