Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Benefits Analyst to join a Telecom Services organization in Bothell, Washington on a Contract basis. This position is suited for someone who can combine benefits administration expertise with strong analytical support in a fast-moving environment. The role will contribute to daily operations, reporting accuracy, and process enhancements while working closely with internal partners and external providers.

Job Responsibility

  • Generate, review, and maintain benefits data and reporting within Workday to support accurate administration and decision-making
  • Oversee self-billing activities, ensuring timely processing and consistent documentation across benefit programs
  • Examine carrier invoices, research variances, and resolve billing issues through detailed reconciliation work
  • Coordinate payment setup and ongoing payment administration related to benefits programs and associated vendors
  • Perform eligibility reviews and compliance-focused audits to help maintain accurate enrollments and policy adherence
  • Address employee questions related to benefits and respond to system-generated tickets with clear, timely follow-up
  • Assist with benefit plan configuration updates in Workday and help implement improvements to operational workflows
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to support ongoing administration and broader benefits initiatives

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in benefits administration with a strong understanding of day-to-day program support
  • Practical hands-on knowledge of Workday, including reporting and benefits-related processing
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis, and reconciliation functions
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability with close attention to detail
  • Experience supporting audits, reporting activities, and data validation within benefits operations
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently and maintain productivity with limited supervision
  • Background in accounting, finance, or benefits-related reconciliation work is preferred
  • Familiarity with self-billing, carrier invoice review, compliance audits, FMLA, or benefits payment processes is an advantage
