We are working with a client who is looking for a skilled Benefits Analyst to join our team on a contract to permanent basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role requires expertise in benefits administration, including 401(k) retirement plans, compliance tasks, and billing reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Offering a hybrid work model.
Job Responsibility:
Administer retirement plans, focusing on new employee uploads, file transfers, and data analysis
Perform corrections related to 401(k) plans and ensure accurate billing processes
Manage weekly and bi-weekly file transfers between payroll systems and plan administrators
Handle compliance notices, including Medicare Part D and Affordable Care Act requirements
Process deferred compensation distributions and assist with life insurance vendor billing
Serve as a backup for tasks related to the Minnesota Paid Leave Act
Contribute to the implementation of Workday and Prudential systems for absence management and benefits administration
Utilize Microsoft Excel for pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions, and data analysis
Collaborate with the team to maintain accountability and resourcefulness in project execution
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits analysis and administration
Proven expertise in 401(k) retirement plan management and billing reconciliation
Strong knowledge of benefits compliance regulations, including the Affordable Care Act
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using pivot tables and VLOOKUP
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines
Nice to have:
Experience with Workday is preferred but not required
